Ursula (Custom Blythe Doll) - Meet The Doll

The "Meet the Doll" series is meant to give you a quick close up of my ooak custom dolls... both new and old.

Ursula is a custom Blythe doll made on a fake Blythe doll base with an articulated body. I customized this doll a couple of years ago. She was my first Blythe to carve so her lip and nose carving is kept pretty simple. She has her stock hair.

Her eyechips are all hand painted. One set is red and white polka dot with a heart center. The others are all painted with metallic paints for a nice shimmer. Her eye mechanism is altered to give her sleep eyes. Her eyelids are painted black with white polka dots.

Her dress is hand made from an original pattern I designed just for her. It has several layers of skirts and petticoats, several of which can only be seen when you pick her up and look. Her shoes are "borrowed" from a Project MC2 doll who is never getting them back :)

Ursula (Custom Blythe Doll)  is not for sale.

Sunflower Custom Doll (Monster High Repaint) - Meet The Doll Slideshow

The "Meet the Doll" series is meant to give you a quick close up of my ooak custom dolls... both new and old.

Sunflower is a custom Monster High doll repaint I did a couple of years ago. Her base is a Draculara (no clue which Draculara, though).

Her face repaint is done with acrylic paint, watercolor pencils, and pastels.

Her hair reroot is done with wool yarn with strands of embroidery floss with gold beads.

Her clothes are all handmade from original patterns.

Her shoes are random Monster High doll shoes that I repainted to look like they have groovy cork soles like were popular in the 1960's and '70's

Sunflower (Monster High Doll Repaint) is not for sale.
